Your host, Georgina Ivor, who speaks both French and Italian, has spent much of her life in the fields of art and music, having first run an art gallery and then managed the worldwide careers of several distinguished classical musicians.  She is also a passionate gardener and the beautifully planted, secluded back garden is featured in the National Gardens Scheme's prestigious Yellow Book.  On warm, sunny days breakfast can be taken under the pear tree.
