28 Old Devonshire Road is a large, elegant  mid-Victorian terraced house located just 5 minutes walk from the station.

 Your host, Georgina Ivor, who speaks both French and Italian, has spent much of her life in the fields of music and art, having first run an art gallery and then helped to build the careers of several distinguished classical musicians as an Artist Manager. She is also a passionate gardener and the property's beautifully planted, secluded back garden is featured in the National Gardens Scheme's prestigious Yellow Book.

Balham Bed & Breakfast, which was chosen for inclusion in Alastair Sawday's Special Places to Stay 2010,  offers a warm welcome and spacious, well-situated private accommodation.  If the weather is fine, breakfast can be taken under the pear tree in the tranquil garden.
